Author / Editor Details: Roy Buckley has worked on polymer treatment of technical textiles for several decades at John Heathcoat & Co Ltd., where he was Research and Development Manager for 15 years until his retirement in 2002. He is currently an independent consultant, working across the globe to implement new developments, including in the field of military applications. Roy has worked as a chemist in the textile field for many years.
