Francis Hannay is a chemist with over 30 years of experience in the plastics packaging industry. He has worked as Head of the Plastics Laboratory at Metal Box and is currently Plastics Consultant for Nampak Group Research and Development. His career has involved material development and specification, performance evaluation and trouble-shooting all aspects of plastics packaging. Mr Hannay is a Fellow of the Plastics Institute of South Africa and a Senior Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers.
